Meal Services FAQ

How to reheat meals?

All our dishes are fully cooked. You simply need to reheat them.
We recommend steaming dishes in their original containers (please remove the lid) using the Bain Marie method, and reheating lasagnas and casseroles in the oven. We recommend removing stir fries from the container and sauté in a pan. Finally, fresh or defrosted meals can be transferred to a microwave safe dish and heated for 1.5-2 minutes.

How to store meals?

Meals will keep for 5 days (refrigerator) or 6 weeks (freezer).
If you know that you will not consume a dish within 5 days, we recommend freezing it upon delivery in order to maintain its nutritional content.
Dishes that were frozen should be thawed in the refrigerator before reheating. Defrosted dishes should be consumed within 24hrs.

Nutritional Values of our dishes?

We do not offer macros for our dishes. Our philosophy is that eating a balanced diet of whole foods made with real ingredients is of the utmost importance for your health and well being. By eating high quality carbs from whole grains & veggies, healthy fats – we use minimal pure oils – and plant-based proteins, you will stay full longer, maintain your blood sugar levels, and maintain optimal energy throughout the day!

What if I have food allergies?

Chef Veganessa is a dedicated gluten free, egg free & dairy free company – all of our menu items are suitable for celiac and vegans. Please let us know if you have a specific allergy or intolerance – we find creative ways to accommodate whenever possible. Please note, however, that if you have a severe allergy, we cannot guarantee cross contamination within our kitchen.
